Buzludzha is a historical peak in the Central Balkan Mountains, Bulgaria and is 1441 metres high (4728 ft.). In 1868 it was the place of the final battle between Bulgarian rebels led by Hadji Dimitar and Stefan Karadzha and the Ottoman Empire.
The Buzludzha Monument on the peak was built by the Bulgarian communists and was opened in 1981. The Architect is Georgi Stoilov. No longer maintained by the Bulgarian government, it has fallen into disuse. Here comes the passion of one bulgaria woman named Dora Ivanova. She studies architecture in German university and she is very excited about the Buzludzha Monument. With our help we can see how the project could looks after eventual restavration.
According to our typical working process and stages, we work on creating and polishing the 3d model, adding photorealistic materials, adjustung the lighting setups and overall aspects of the images until we get the desired result and quality.
For this project we used software packages, which are Autodesk 3Ds Max including Vray Renderer and of course Adobe Photoshop. We finished the visualizations also with the help of many small scripts and plugins.
